Public memory
Keep stories visible after the feed moves on and the outrage cycle resets.
Vision
CNR exists to turn everyday frustration into public memory: visible, repeatable and hard to brush aside.
Be seen.
Be heard.
Be counted.
Be impossible to erase.
Our vision is a media space where students, job seekers, workers and overlooked communities can speak without waiting for permission from institutions that already ignored them.
We want satire to carry truth, reports to carry context and public attention to create pressure without pretending to be a political party or a full news portal.
Keep stories visible after the feed moves on and the outrage cycle resets.
Use satire, songs and clips so people can name what they are living through.
Help ignored voices gather enough signal that systems have to respond.
Independent: Cockroach Newsroom is not affiliated with CJP or any political party.
Satirical: the tone can be comic, but the frustration and participation are real.
Accountable: public reports need context, source, location and date where possible.
